For all hikes: Bring lunch, liquid and clothing appropriate for the season (summer fog, winter rain).
Some hikes may be canceled or changed due to the weather; please see statement in each hike description.
Call the hike leader if you are not sure.
For trail maintenance: Wear long pants, boots, and long-sleeved shirt and bring gloves as well as lunch and liquid.

Hidden Villa Partial loop, partial out-and-back hike through woods and chaparral. Twelve miles, 1400 feet, moderately strenuous hike up the Hostel Trail to the Black Mountain and Chamise Trails to Deer Hollow Farm where we'll have lunch. Return on Chamise, Ewing Hill, and Creek trails.Heavy rain cancels; moderate rain will shorten the hike. Carpool Page Mill/280 at 9:10, or meet at Hidden Villa main parking lot (parking fee charged). Trail Maintenance - Skyline to the Sea Trail— Al Lisin, (408) 252-8106, leads a group that maintains the Skyline to the Sea Trail. This group now meets on the first Saturday of the month. The group meets at 9:00 am. Please call Al for meeting place (which changes).

Baker Beach; Planning on a 10 mile hike from Baker's beach, to the Golden Gate Bridge, then thru the Presidio. Bring lunch and layers, Heavy rains cancels. Castle Rock State Park Trail Maintenance— The third Saturday of every month Kevin McDevitt leads trail work in the Castle Rock area. Meet at Saratoga Gap parking lot at 9:00. Call Kevin at (408) 733-3333. Bring boots and gloves, lunch and liquid. Tools are supplied but bring your own favorites if you prefer.

Walk around the Stanford Campus Enjoy a walk around the Stanford Campus including the Dish. This will be around a eight to10 mile walk. Bring lunch or one can buy lunch at the Student Union. Walk begins at 9:30, heavy rains cancels. No host carpool at Edgewood Park and Ride at 9:15 or meet at the parking lot by the cactus garden, across the street from the Stanford Barn on Quarry Road. Foothills Park Meet at Orchard Glen picnic area at the bottom of the hill on the left. We'll take the Fern Loop trail to the Costanoan trial, then the Los Trances Trail: 9 miles total. Rancho Canada Del Oro Sorry, the Henry Coe hike has been cancelled by the park ranger, too much rain and the roads are too messy. We will meet at Cottle/85 park and ride at 8:30 and hike Rancho Canada del Oro. Hopefully, we will see some wildflowers and hike approx 8 miles. Hike leader is Mary Ellen at 408 885 0184.

Russian Ridge Start with a car shuttle - We will need to shuttle a few cars to Audrey Rust Site so we can shuttle back to Russian Ridge Parking Lot. From Russian Ridge Parking Lot we hike to Skyline Ridge and have lunch at the Horse Shoe Pond. We then hike to Skyline Ridge Preserve Parking Lot and return back towards Russian Ridge and will end at Audrey Rust Commemorative Site. About 9 miles, moderate,guessing elevation gain about 1400. Mt. Tamalpais Beginning at Rock Springs parking lot (Pantoll Rd. up from Pantoll Park Hdqtrs), hike Cataract Trail, High Marsh, Kent Trail, etc to Mt. Home Theater and West Point, about 9+ miles. Pinnacles National Park From Bear Gulch day use area hike to Bear Gulch reservoir, hike uphill to the high peaks, Juniper Canyon trail, Tunnel trail and High peaks trail back. Moderate hike about 10miles, 1,425 feet elevation gain. Heavy rain cancel. Car-pool at Cottle Rd. off Hwy85 at 8.00am or meet at Bear Gulch day use area parking lot at 9.30 to start the hike. Henry Coe docent led hike Bob Kass, a docent at Henry Coe State Park, will lead a hike starting at 9:00 at Hunting Hollow entrance. The hike is approx 9 miles long, hopefully there will be a lot of wildflowers and some new sights for us to see.
